Christmas Is Coming,
the goose is getting fat. And people want to know what we want for Christmas.
Please don’t feel that you have to get anything on these lists, but here are some ideas for all you Christmas shoppers.

We had a great night! Thank you for everyone’s wonderful dishes, it was all sooo good!
David and I checking out the meat themometer on his turkey.
Here’s both turkeys a few hours later.
Daniel practiced saying the blessing all day and did such a good job. He even went around to everyone at dinner and asked them what they were thankful for. So I think he somewhat ‘gets’ Thanksgiving. When asked at school what he was thankful for, his replies were "elephant shirts and Mama."
Good luck to everyone who is braving the crowds today to shop! We are going to stay home and eat some leftovers (did no one take anything home, we have food for days?) and start putting up Christmas decorations!!
Check out the Thanksgiving album for more pictures.
9am - Waiting for the parade to start.
11:30am - Turkey is ready to go in the oven.
1:30pm - Two hours in. The house smells great!
4:30pm - The bird is done and is sitting in a warm oven awaiting dinner (I can’t reveal the final product until dinner, so I’ll post pictures later tonight). Daniel is napping, though I really should get him up soon. I’m going to sit back and watch A Christmas Story until guests start arriving. For anyone who will be joining us tonight, see you at 6:30! For everyone those that we can’t be with, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We love you!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
I’ve also added a Thanksgiving album for all the other snapshots of today. I will be adding to it throughout the day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
A little later in the day, we will begin posting pictures of our preparations, so check back then!
Love,
The Sidlingers
Things are busy at the Sidlinger house getting ready for Thanksgiving! We’ll be posting updates throughout the day on Thursday, so you can check in to see how the turkey is coming along, sort of a countdown to dinner.
It’s almost that time of year again! At the request of a few, here is Daniel’s Christmas list. I’ve also added a link under thesidlingers links to the upper right.
Be warned that if you want to discuss anything on the list with us, Daniel knows how to spell DANIEL, TOY, THOMAS, TRAIN, YES, NO, STAR WARS, DISNEY, BUZZ, INCREDIBLES (ok, that one he doesn’t know how to spell the entire word, but if he hears the first few letters, he knows), SHREK, TARGET, MOVIE, BOOK, SANTA and a few other things. The problem is, we don’t know when he’s picked up a new word. So, please no spelling in front of Daniel this year.
T-H-A-N-K-S!
Since we’re half way through November, I thought I should add the October 2004 album, so I have.
I’ve also added a Nashville album with some snapshots of some sight-seeing we did when David’s cousin Chris was visiting last week. We learned that Daniel loves going downtown, so I’m sure we’ll be adding some more pictures of local landmarks in the future.
Here’s David and Chris lifting Daniel on our walk downtown. No wonder Daniel had such a good time!
We went to see The Incredibles on Friday night. It was a great movie, definitely our favorite Pixar one so far! So Daniel has been in superhero mode for the past few days. While getting ready for bed the other night, he announced himself as Captain Night Night and I was his sidekick, Pajama Girl. Good thing we just got him some cool new pajamas.
