After watching another frustrating council meeting, we’ve decided David should run for our next district election.

I’ve got two years to convince him…

Thanks to Aunt Honey for a lovely party and thanks to everyone for my wonderful gifts!  I’m online tonight using my JoAnn’s gift cards.  Stay tuned tomorrow for pictures of David’s scarf and hat that I finished this weekend (and possibly the scarf I started for myself).

I resolve to post something here everyday this year, except when the internet is down all day and I have no way of posting.

Daniel was up most of last night with leg pains.  Poor guy.  Most of the night was spent trying to keep the heating pad on his legs and rubbing them.

He’s also been trying to assert his independence lately.  We’ve had alot of "I’ll do it by myself" and "Leave me alone" statements this week.

Then he had a dentist appointment this morning (he did great!) where we were informed that at his next appointment (in July) he would go back all by himself.  All by himself!  No Mama, no Daddy. 

I guess I can no longer pretend that he is not growing up.

Getting Daniel out the door this morning was not an easy task.  So instead of fighting him about it, I took pictures.  I caught this one mid-spin.

Thank you for bringing me Tom Ka Kai soup for dinner because I didn’t feel well.
