What?

Daniel was playing in the sunroom just now when I overheard him say, "I’ll show you Marlon Brando!"

Huh?

A Series of Photos With His Eyes Closed

Dscf0038 He thought too hard about not blinking.

Come Again?

Daniel received his second Zoobook in the mail today (yesterday now, I guess).  He was sitting in the back seat of the car after the soccer meeting; waiting on Sonic and looking the magazine over, when he said, "It says here cheetahs are the fastest."

At first, Maggie and I thought he knew this from a TV program or deduced it from the drawing of a cheetah winning a race with a greyhound.  I asked him, "How do you know it says that?"  He pointed to the word "fastest" on the page.

Until now, he had only picked out fairly short words and sometimes words found in logos he knows.  This was a seven letter word.

Think about this for just a second…

OK.  Now, freak out.

I Got Nothing

I’ve spent the evening obsessively browsing the internet for the perfect spot for this years vacation.

So I have no post prepared for today, but I can tell you an awful lot about vacation rentals in Georgia and North Carolina!

Good News/Bad News

Tonight while getting ready to go to bed:

"Mama, I’ve got good news and bad news…The good news is, I love you.  The bad news is, I’ve got to go potty."

The Cat Sat On A Mat

If we were playing Jeopardy, the question would be:

What is a sentence that Daniel can read?

He can also read most 3 letter words with a short ‘a’ sound.

Now for a proud parent freak out…

He can READ people!  He’s only four!  He’s only been four for a couple of months!  And he’s READING!

Ok, I’m better now.  I just had to share.

To Mama (MAMA)

I Love (LOV) You (UOY)
