Here’s a link to the very first post here, oh so long ago (back in September). 

We’ve had a family website since Daniel was born with some downtime here and there, but we really enjoy the whole "blog" format.  This website and the ones before it have really become Daniel’s baby book and we’re glad we can share it with all of you!

Kind of on a whim today, we got an aquarium! We have six red velvet swordtails. Daniel loves the new fish and has named them all.  I expect him to change a few of the names before the weekend is over though.

After doing a little research on the internet, we’ve found out that Kissy (named because the tip of its head is white and its lips are red) is the only boy and that two of them (either Kingdo, Sammy, Monone or Shane) are pregnant (live births, 15-80 babies).

Yesterday Daniel had a Valentine’s party at school.  For those of you following his love life, he got a special Valentine from Madelyn.

And she gave him a box of conversation hearts.

Me: Did you sing any songs at school today?

Daniel: Yeah!

Me: What song?

Daniel: Oh, I will sing it for you!

Me: OK!

Daniel:  Bop Shoo Bop, Bop Shoo Bop

           Jesus is the rock and he rolls my boobs away.

           Bop Shoo Bop, Bop Shoo Bop

           Whoo!

Me: That’s great, are you sure Jesus rolls your boobs away?

Daniel:  Yeah.

Me: Are you sure he doesn’t roll your blues away?

Daniel:  Oh…yeah, maybe that’s it.

What we made today…

Sorry for the non-posts again this weekend.  Daniel and I have colds and have been taking it easy.  Saturday morning I took some daytime cold medicine and I fell asleep for 3 1/2 hours, I don’t understand that.

Daniel seems to feeling ok, he just has a really stuffy nose and cough. I hope some of it goes away before Wednesday (and definitely by Friday) because they are getting ready for their Valentine’s party at school on Friday and he really wants to go.

I hated that we weren’t feeling well this weekend because it was so pretty outside.  If we’re not going to get any big snows, I wish Spring would hurry up!

I will try to post again sometime later today with a picture of Daniel’s new haircut.
