In preparation for Daniel’s upcoming egg hunts, we practiced with a few egg hunt exercises this morning.  The Easter Bunny has left eggs hidden in the past, but now that Daniel is four, we think that EB is going to choose more challenging hiding places.  Daniel also has an egg hunt at school tomorrow and we want make sure he is prepared to rule with his superior egg finding skills!  It’s all about the EGGS!!

Ok.  Really?  He just wanted me to hide eggs this morning so he could find them.  I started saying "You’re getting warmer," and "so cold!"  without even thinking that he didn’t know what I was talking about.  I tried my best to explain, but I don’t think he gets it yet.  How do you teach a kid about the ‘hot’ and ‘cold’ of the playground (and egg hunts)?
