Saturday’s Game

This week’s game (the 19th) is at 1:00pm.  Email us for details.

If the rain stays away, it’s supposed to get into the lower 60’s, so it should be a nice day!

Ides Schmides

All Daniel cares about today is that The Incredibles comes out on DVD.

Every half hour or so, he comes up to me and tells me that he remembers it comes out today.  David called to say he picked it up on his lunch hour and Daniel keeps asking "at what clock does Daddy get home?"

Guess we’re watching a movie this evening. ;)

Bah.

Daniel has an ear infection and I have a sinus infection.  Today was spent on the couch coloring, playing video games, eating popsicles and being lazy.

Daniel’s Dream Weekend

Dscf0072

Friday:School day, Dinner at a Mexican restaurant, Going to the movie theater to see Robots (and the Star Wars trailer).

Saturday: Soccer Game, lunch at Burger King (and getting a Robots toy as a prize), going to the fish store (and conning Mama and Daddy into buying a hermit crab), flying a kite with Mama, Daddy and Negley, getting a haircut and a lollipop, getting some candy at the grocery store, coming home and watching cartoons until bed.

We don’t really have any plans for tomorrow…I hope he’s not too upset when I tell him we have to clean the house.

Interview

I think Daniel just interviewed me for the job of Mama.  He was sitting across the table from me, pen in hand and asked me for my full name, my phone number, my age and my favorite letter.  He then asked me if I liked the things he did and what I liked to do for fun.  The whole time he was making notes on his sheet of paper.

I hope I get the job.

Finally!

I’ve finally figured out how to post from my phone!  I have to work on getting it cleaned up a bit now, but at least I got it to work!

TGTIF (Thank God Tomorrow Is Friday!)

What a long week this has seemed to be.  My computer is back to normal.  I still don’t know exactly what all I had on my system, but it took us three days to get it off.  The main part of it was some really bad spy-ware, watch out for that stuff.

Monday Daniel’s soccer practice was canceled because of the rain and he was not happy about that.

Tuesday…eh.  We had a snow day and we were in the part of the county that got absolutely NO snow.  Also on Tuesday, Negley got under my feet and made me run into the island and I cracked the front display on my less than a week old phone.

(Speaking of my phone, I’ve been trying to get the settings right so I can post here from my phone, but it doesn’t seem to be working yet.  There are a few test messages floating around out there somewhere that have yet to appear here, so if there is a flood of identical entries in the future, that’s why.)

Wednesday was not so bad, but Daniel was still sleeping went I picked him up from school which is not a good thing.  It means he waited until the very last possible moment to fall asleep, so he’s only had 10-15 minutes of sleep, which means I got to take a grumpy Daniel home.

Today was just kinda blah, but not in a bad way.  We didn’t do much of anything at all.  By the end of the day though, doing nothing was getting a bit boring.  Daniel did entertain us with acting and singing for a few minutes before bed though.

Tomorrow should be good because it means the weekend is here (at 5ish anyway).  We don’t have any big plans or anything, but it’s nice to know that we can all be together and just hang out and spend time together.
