When Animals Check the Mail
This is a TV show idea that Daniel pitched to us at dinner.
Maybe we’re watching a little too much Animal Planet.

My apologies for the lull in new posts. The summer is proving to be full of activities that are keeping us quite busy.
I’ll try to be better about it this week and at least post some pictures!
Friday Night
Sounds Game on Friday Night.
Daniel drinking "smoke" made from dry ice at the Mad Scientist program at the library on Saturday.
Daniel attacking David with Father’s Day presents at 7:00am. He was so excited. He ran in and jumped on the bed and said "It’s Father’s Day!!!" and then piled David’s presents on his head.
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s, Granddad’s, Grandpa’s, Pop’s, Pa’s, Uncles and Daddy’s out there!
Have a great day!
We all had our angel food cake with strawberries and Cool Whip today!
As a birthday gift to her, I will be walking to raise money for the ALS Association this October. Click here to visit my site.
Daniel just came out of the bathroom, with just his underwear on. He was holding a small string of elastic attached to the underwear, plucking it like a guitar string.
He was so proud to show me his new discovery, he gave me a whole concert!
Daniel’s ever emerging attitude is getting him trouble lately. Privileges are been taken away as punishment. First his new video game, then his computer and then the TV (am I writing about a teenager or a four year old??). Except for, I can’t have the TV off all day, I don’t really watch it all that much, I just have to have it on. So I modified the last punishment a little (hooray for being the Mommy!). He can watch anything that David and I are watching while he’s up, educational programming or the Animal Planet channel. No Disney, no Nick, no Cartoon Network. Basically no fluffy kids programs.
You know what? He LOVES Animal Planet and actually pays attention to and enjoys the educational stuff!
I’m thinking of keeping the TV restrictions the way they are right now (I will let him watch Disney a few times a week though, I’m not that mean).
So don’t be surprised if the next time you see Daniel, he’s telling you all about animals and space and cooking!
Tonight around 9:00pm, laying on the couch…
Me: Your eyes are kind of heavy, are you sleepy?
Daniel: No. I just need a little bit of restage.
I didn’t turn my flash on because I didn’t want upset any of the league bowlers, so it’s a little blurry.
I don’t know who was having more fun…Daniel bowling with the guys or Ryan and Austin trying to get the ramp set up for Daniel. Either way it was a great time!
