It was very evident that  snow had been forecast for the area today at the grocery store.

Picture038_1 I had to park at the very end of the parking lot at 2:00 on a Friday afternoon.

Picture040_1 And there were very limited shopping cart choices.

Fortunately, (and fellow Nashvillians will be happy to know) there was plenty of bread and milk still to be had (if you leave RIGHT NOW!)

Loose Tooth

Daniel has been somewhat obsessed with loose teeth for the past couple of months and would occasionally ask us to check and see if his teeth were loose.  We would play along, not wanting to dash his hopes and say that one of his teeth might be a little loose, but it would still be a while before Tooth Fairy time.

That is until tonight.  He hopped up on the bed and said he thought his teeth might be loose and so I wiggled a little bit, and the teeth that used to stand strong in his mouth, gave a little bit.  I called David into confirm and he found one to be even looser than I had.

I freaked out a little and David tried to explain to Daniel about how he was my baby, but he was a big boy, but he would always be my baby.  Daniel just looked confused and wondered why I was crying a little bit.  He is happy though, our house is at least on the Tooth Fairy’s map now.  I am still freaking out a little bit.

What Do You See Below?

Nexiumplans

If you guessed the product information sheet from a sample of Nexium*, you’d be wrong.  Apparently, these are detailed plans for building a D-Wing Ship for the Superhero D-Team.  Bet you didn’t know they hid plans like this in such items?

*I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me I had Acid Reflux, or if you prefer the sexier term, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease).  So I have to take Nexium for the next month and not eat chocolate.  Does this doctor not realize that it is February and I am due one big box of dark chocolate Godiva’s??
