Kindergartener No More
From the First Day of School
From the 2 last days of school:
He’s officially a (rising) first grader now! I can’t believe it. It’s been so wonderful to watch him and his classmates change so much in 10 months.
The last full day was Wednesday, with Thursday being a half day. They had an awards program where Daniel got his Kindergarten "diploma", which we have on video. I am working on transferring to the computer right now and will upload sometime today or tomorrow.
We are also busy this week getting ready for our vacation to San Diego, so make sure you check back for pictures and travel updates…you may see the previous post titled "Test2", I was getting my cell phone set up so that I can take pictures and have them sent to this site instantly, so you can have a sneak peak of what’s going on with us while we’re off exploring California!

Update!!!
No one told me the last month of school is so busy?!?! Wow!
At any rate, here is some kind of an update…I suppose I should start off from last month…Baseball is going well…Daniel is doing pretty good without the Tee…so much so that on his second game on April 21st, he got three hit and the coach awarded him the game ball!!!
School is also going well…excellent report card and learning new stuff everyday. The whole school had a field trip a couple of weeks ago to see the Nashville Sounds play and then the Kindergarten went on a field trip to the zoo last week…Granddad got to come along on that one!
A couple of weeks before that, the Kindergarten put on a cute program, which I have on video and will try to transfer to the computer sometime this weekend (no promises though…but school does get out on the 24th this month, so updates may become more regular after that).
Today though, was field day and fun run and I do have pictures to share from that. There is even some very short, very grainy video shot from my phone, if you click the links to the left titled Field Day. It was a very fun day overall, but Daniel and I are exhausted!
**Also wanted to add…I have pictures of Daniel’s field trips and field day on our flickr site, but have them marked as private since they have other people’s children in them who might not want to be on the internet.
